Ajibulu’s Philanthropic Efforts Shine Bright With Solar Powered Streetlights Donation

Ipao-Ekiti, Ekiti State – In a bid to enhance the safety and well-being of residents, Chief Segun Ajibulu, a former senatorial aspirant and one-time Commissioner of the Pension Commission in Ekiti State, has donated solar-powered streetlights to Ipao-Ekiti community.

The donation, which is part of the Segun Ajibulu Foundation’s annual social intervention program, aims to provide a safer and more conducive environment for residents. The program, which marked its 2024 edition, also included a free medical outreach and palliative distribution to beneficiaries in 10 communities.

Speaking at the occasion, Chief Ajibulu expressed his gratitude to God Almighty for sustaining the foundation for 33 years. He noted that the foundation, established shortly after his father’s demise, has grown from a small community initiative to a larger program supporting hundreds of people across different communities.

The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, commended Chief Ajibulu for his philanthropic efforts, describing him as a genuine and committed philanthropist. Prince Michael Ogungbem, Chairman of the Ajoni Local Council Development Area, also praised Chief Ajibulu’s efforts in lifting the poor and vulnerable.

The event was attended by traditional rulers, government functionaries, and other dignitaries.
