Sungrow Launches Next-Generation Inverter for Commercial Solar Markets
Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sungrow, a leading Chinese inverter manufacturer, has launched its new SG150CX inverter for commercial and industrial applications at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) trade show. The company’s latest offering boasts exceptional performance, safety, and reliability features.
According to a Sungrow spokesperson, the SG150CX inverter is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) 3.0 and an extended cable detection range of up to 450 meters. It will enhance operational safety and reduce potential risks.
The SG150CX inverter delivers 210 kW of PV input power, featuring a maximum input voltage of 1,100 V and an input voltage of 600 V. Its MPPT voltage range spans 180 to 1,000 V, while the maximum PV input power current reaches 336 A. The system features seven independent MPPT inputs and three PV strings per MPPT, ensuring optimal energy harvesting.
The SG150CX inverter boasts a rated AC output power of 150 kW, supporting a rated AC voltage range of 320 V to 480 V. It achieves impressive efficiency ratings, including 98.8% efficiency and 98.2% European efficiency, making it an attractive solution for commercial and industrial solar applications. The inverter’s design incorporates IP66-rated protection and integrated surge protection for both DC and AC.
Sungrow’s SG150CX inverter is designed to ensure seamless compatibility with high-current PV modules, significantly boosting system efficiency. Its smart switches enable the disconnection of faulty strings while maintaining others operational, thereby reducing power generation losses. Additionally, the system incorporates multiple safety features, including grid monitoring, DC reverse polarity protection, leakage current protection, and ground fault monitoring, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
